Jackson has been drawn to media for as long as he can remember. In fifth grade he was posting Rubik’s Cube tutorials on YouTube (which are still floating around if you dig hard enough). By high school he was making skits for the Rebel Rewind at Maryville and spending Sundays in the church booth running lyrics and cameras. At seventeen, he joined the church staff to lead that team (and learned the true meaning of “figure it out as you go.")

When Jackson started college at MTSU, entrepreneurship wasn’t on his radar. But God opened an unexpected door through a Maryville home builder who encouraged him to take on their marketing and then challenged him to start his own shop. Over winter break he did just that, filing the paperwork for Pursuit Digital at 18 years old.

A few years later he graduated from MTSU and married the love of his life, Samantha. They are grateful to call East Tennessee home and are members of Fellowship Middlebrook in West Knoxville.

Pursuit’s name comes from 1 Timothy 6:11, a verse written in the front of a Bible given to Jackson as a kid. That verse has become both his personal life verse and the foundation of the business. He sees Pursuit as something entrusted to him to steward, a platform to serve others with excellence and integrity while keeping Christ at the center.
