Responsibilities:

• Partner with clients and colleagues to understand project goals and user needs.
• Utilize templates, design mockups, and elements to create web layouts.
• Develop responsive and visually stunning website layouts and graphics.
• Ensure design consistency and functionality across various devices.
• Stay updated on design trends and best practices to drive innovation.
• Conduct thorough testing and refinement to deliver top-notch results.
• Manage multiple projects effectively, meeting deadlines with finesse.
• Setup & manage client Google Business profiles.
• Setup & manage client email accounts.
• Manage our existing client websites and provide client web support.

Required Qualifications:

• Understanding of design principles and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication skills for client and team collaboration.
• Strong grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for pixel-perfect design.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive without being directly monitored.
• Prior experience in web design or a related field.
• Unwavering honesty, respect, and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Webflow and Wix design experience.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Adobe Suite design experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Understanding of SEO.
• Google Ads experience.
• Google Workspace setup experience.
• Asana or kanban project management experience.

Schedule & Pay:

• This is a part-time role. We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your availability.
• Starting at 9-15 hours per week.
• This position pays $20/hour bi-weekly.

Location:

• Our office is located at 154F Market Place Blvd in West Knoxville. We are approximately 15 minutes from the University of Tennessee.
